Zain Launches LTE Services in Kuwait

Kuwait's Zain has announced the launch of its LTE network with nationwide coverage. The launch comes after the regulator authorised the use of LTE services in the 1800Mhz spectrum last month.
Zain Kuwait CEO Omar Alomar said, "We are very proud to launch the new service that will provide the fastest mobile internet speeds to our customers all over Kuwait exclusively from Zain. This service is available for the first time nationwide."
Customers with compatible devices have to switch to a dedicated LTE tariff.
