Samsung May Build New Handset Factory in Bangladesh

Samsung Electronics may consider setting up a handset factory in Bangladesh to meet growing demand in the region reports the United News of Bangladesh news agency.
It carried out, it is claimed that the facility could create as many as 50,000 jobs and generate US$1 billion worth of exports for the country.
The announcement was made by South Korean Ambassador, Lee Yun-young during a meeting with Industries Minister Dilip Barua.
Lee Yun-young informed the Industries Minister that he would play the role of catalyst in boosting Korean investment in Bangladesh.
"Any foreign entrepreneur can easily be benefited by utilising Bangladesh's internal market advantage and cheap labours," Dilip Barua said.
