Moldcell Granted LTE License

Moldova's Moldcell says that it has been awarded a 4G license by the telecoms regulator.
Mr. Barkin Secen, Moldcell General Manager pointed out that being part of the TeliaSonera Group, who is one of the inventors of mobile telephony, it was a very natural step for Moldcell to secure 4G LTE technology.
"Moldcell is part of TeliaSonera, who has pioneered 4G technology in the world and has always supported us to invest and deploy it in Moldova, for the benefit of country citizens. I'm confident that Moldcell 4G services to be launched soon will further improve Moldcell clients' experience by providing them the fastest mobile Internet ever"
Moldcell carried out initial LTE trials back in May 2011.
