Batelco Command Centre and NOC Upgraded

Bahrain's Batelco says that it has upgraded its Command Centre and Network Operations Centre (NOC) located at the Company Hamala headquarters.
In the case of any crisis situation, which may impact on the provision of Batelco communications services, Batelco Crisis Management Team (CMT) will convene at the Command Centre to discuss and implement solutions.
Batelco NOC at Hamala is a fully functional backup NOC & SMC (Service Management Centre) established to ensure continuous customer and network support in case of emergency and crisis situations which threaten the communications services.
The Command Centre and NOC are crucial elements of Batelco Business Continuity Plan (BCP) which ensures the Company readiness to deal with any disaster such as a major fire, for example. Batelco holds annual BCP rehearsals, which involve Batelco Crisis Management Team with the support of several Batelco employees across the Company.
To add further resilience in the face of disasters, Batelco has two alternative Command Centre's located at Hamala HQ and Batelco's Telephone House in Salmaniya.
