Kyrgyz youth will soon be able to acquire internet literacy for free after dignitaries launched the Internet Parking project in downtown Bishkek October 12, according to the parliamentary press office.

The project, led by Ar-Namys MP Dastan Bekeshev and parliamentary intern Zhyldyz Tursunbekova, will last one year.

The segment of Freedom Boulevard between Chui Prospect and Kiev Street will have free outdoor classes in internet literacy for students and anybody else who wants to learn. The area will have free Wi-Fi.

The project aims to give Kyrgyz youth the chance to use the World Wide Web to acquire new knowledge. The instructors will talk about social networking and the positive changes that are possible through socialising on the internet, the parliamentary press office said.
