ZTE Wins GSM-R Contract with Russian Railways

­ZTE says that it has won a GSM-R contract with Russian Railways. The contract, valued at over $100 million, provides total solutions including Scheduling System, Intelligent Network, Interception & Recording, Transmission, Power, and Terminals for railway lines from Saint Petersburg to Bulovskaya.

"ZTE is pleased to partner with Russian Railways," said ZTE Vice President Yang Jun. "We are confident that our GSM-R will provide reliable communications and scheduling for more railways."

ZTE says that it has now won GSM-R contracts in China, Vietnam, Uzbekistan and Russia.
