Assia Launches Remote Wi-Fi Diagnostics Tool for Domestic Consumers

Software developer, Assia says that it has a new application that can optimise domestic Wi-Fi services.
The company says that the software, "Expresse Wi-Fi" provides advanced diagnosis and automatic proactive repair capabilities that improve home Wi-Fi network performance. With visibility of real-time Wi-Fi performance, Assia can diagnose Wi-Fi problems, isolate their sources, and resolve Wi-Fi problems remotely and in real time.
Expresse Wi-Fi addresses performance problems that arise as home wireless networks proliferate, and as consumers experience the Internet primarily through a Wi-Fi connection. The increasing number of access points and mobile devices, such as tablets, smartphones, and gaming consoles, can burden a Wi-Fi network, causing high latency, performance bottlenecks, and even outages.
Assia provides Expresse Wi-Fi as a cloud-based service. The product is expected to be generally available in late 2012.
