Foxconn Denies There's a Labour Strike at its iPhone Assembly Factory

Handset assembly giant, Foxconn has denied reports that staff at one of its factories in China building Apple's iPhone have gone on strike over the pressures of the workload.
The company did confirm that there was a small dispute between a small group of production line workers and Quality Assurance (QA) personnel at its Zhengzhou factory last week, but says these were small scale issues that had been resolved by adding more staff to the production lines.
Over the weekend, the human rights group, China Labor Watch claimed that more than 200 quality control employees had refused in protest over high-pressure work conditions.
According to the human rights group, the plant employs close to 200,000 workers.
In a statement, Foxconn said that "any reports that there has been an employee strike are inaccurate, there has been no workplace stoppage in that facility or any other Foxconn facility and production has continued on schedule."
