Vodafone Buys Irish Landline Operator

Vodafone Ireland announced the acquisition of Complete Telecom, an Irish business based in Dublin that provides enterprise managed data network and fixed telecoms services.
Vodafone began offering enterprise managed data network solutions following its acquisition of Interfusion last year where it has since experienced a 30% increase in revenues. Vodafone now expects to double its revenue in this area with the acquisition of Complete Telecom and will establish a new dedicated enterprise solutions unit to deliver its expanded portfolio to business customers nationwide.
Commenting on the acquisition, Vodafone Ireland Enterprise Director, Anne O'Leary said, "Companies want straight forward management of their day-to-day communications needs from one single provider. Complete Telecom is a great fit for us, bringing the scale we need to offer bespoke fixed and mobile converged solutions while also providing specialist tools to support customers in managing their data traffic."
Complete Telecom employs 23 people and has approximately 300 customers in Ireland. Complete Telecom will continue to operate as a standalone entity for an initial period after which it will transfer to the new Enterprise Customer Solutions unit within Vodafone Ireland.
