Roamware Obtains Non-Infringement Judgement in Patent Lawsuit

Published on:

Starhome has lost a patent lawsuit against Roamware concerning two US patents (6,920,487 and 7,231,431), Roamware has announced, citing a verdict of non-infringement based on the Delaware District Court's claim construction ruling.

The litigation was filed by Starhome against Roamware and Roamware's U.S. customers. The judgment dismissed with prejudice Starhome's claims.

"This litigation has been ongoing for over two years and we are pleased with the Court's recent rulings," said Kirk Williams, Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary for Roamware. "We are confident that the Court correctly decided the issue and we are prepared for any appeal."

Starhome had also included AT&T and T-Mobile USA in its lawsuit for infringing the patents, each entitled "System and Methods for Global Access to Services for Mobile Telephone Subscribers."
