Pre-Orders Pushed the iPhone 5 into Accessory Vendor's Top-10 Before Launch

The Swedish manufacturer of carrying cases for portable electronics, Krusell, releases its Top 10-list for August 2012. The list is based on the number of pieces of custom made mobile- and smartphone cases ordered from Krusell during August 2012.
Krusell's list is unique due to the fact that it reflects the sales of phones on six continents and in more than 70 countries around the globe.
"As a result of the enormous hype around the little device with a big apple on, the top 10 list for August almost predict the future," says Ulf Sandberg MD at Krusell. "Krusellīs accessories are already ordered and we see no decline in the interest onwards. My forcast is that we will see a huge gap between the iPhone5 and the rest of the list in orders the coming month ahead," he ends.
