ZTE says that it has completed interoperability testing of LTE / EPC (Evolved Packet Core) for German operator, E-Plus within its 1800Mhz based LTE trial network.

ZTE provided EPC core network infrastructure equipment for E-Plus and successfully completed multi-vendor integration testing with several Ericsson LTE base stations.

"ZTE provides an open and flexible LTE end-to-end solution that supports multi-mode multi-band network construction to meet network operators' roll-out needs. In the past few years, ZTE has been working in the 3G field with E-Plus to offer continuous service and support for the network," said Xu Ziyang, vice president, ZTE.
