The open hearing into "Investigation of the Security Threat Posed by Chinese Telecommunications Companies Huawei and ZTE" will be held on Thursday (13th Sept) by the House of Representatives Intelligence Committee.
Huawei's US spokesman, William Plummer said that the company will "appear at the hearing if the appropriate arrangements are agreed with the committee," He did not elaborate on what those arrangements might be.
The formal list of witnesses for the open meeting, which will also be webcast will be on the US House of Representatives website later this week.
