NTT DoCoMo Buys Guam Based Broadband Internet Provider

Japan's NTT DoCoMo is reported to have signed a deal to buy MCV Broadband Guam, one of two broadband internet providers on the Pacific island nation.
The transaction was carried out though Docomo Pacific, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Japanese company.
Docomo Pacific's President and CEO Jay Shedd told local media that the deal needs approval by the US telecoms regulator, and the financial terms were confidential.
"We expect to close before the end of the year" said Shedd "and after closing we will release further details."
Docomo Pacific already has operations in Guam after it bought the local mobile network, GuamCell in 2006.
