Over half of South Korea's LTE subscribers are dissatisfied with the network coverage, according to an opinion poll commissioned by the telecoms regulator.
The poll found that in total, around 60% of users were unhappy with the service, despite paying high overall bills than users of 3G networks.
A total of 39.6 percent of LTE subscribers said they were satisfied with the LTE coverage, although 56 percent said they were happy with the stability of the service. In terms of voice services, three-quarters of LTE users were satisfied with their service.
LTE users accounted for 28.7 percent of the 4,000 smartphone users questioned by the regulator.
Despite the varying satisfaction, over a third of 3G customers plan to upgrade to LTE within the year.
