Uk's Everything Everywhere May Be About to Launch New Consumer Brandname

Despite previous denials, UK based Everything Everywhere -- the merged T-Mobile/Orange combo -- is preparing to ditch the name, at least in consumer facing advertising.
Citing unnamed sources, Marketing Magazine wrote that the company is looking to launch a new brand identity and advertising campaign in October, in the run up to the key Christmas selling period.
The company still operates separate T-Mobile UK and Orange UK retail stores, but has also 30 Everything Everywhere branded stores which offer products from both mobile networks. The company has an expansion plan for the joint-retail stores based on identifying locations where it has multiple outlets that can be consolidated.
The marketing newspaper added that Saatchi & Saatchi is handling the campaign.
Last year, Everything Everywhere's new CEO, Olaf Swantee voiced his commitment to the company's long-winded brand name, and to retaining its operating subsidiary brands, Orange and T-Mobile in the UK.
However, the company admitted earlier this year that proposals to drop the name were put in a document sent to investors, but said at the time that it was sticking with a policy agreed last October, although it declined to say what that policy was.
