MBlox Enables Inbound Messaging from Italy and Spain
Published on:
Mobile messaging service provider, mBlox today announced additions to its inbound messaging capabilities, with the availability of updated offerings in Spain and Italy.
mBlox is launching new inbound capabilities in Spain using a "short code"-based product, covering Movistar, Vodafone, Orange and Yoigo. In addition, mBlox is launching inbound capabilities in Italy using a "long number" based product, which provides a similar function in a more cost-efficient way.
At the heart of both is the opt-in transparency that places control in the consumers' hands, letting them manage the information they receive by simply sending an SMS.
"mBlox is seeing more and more enterprises evolve from using one way messaging to using bi-directional messaging, as they realise the real-time interaction and increased responsiveness, retention and loyalty this can deliver," says Rob Malcolm, General Manager of Messaging, mBlox.
Bi-directional messaging via short code and/or long numbers from mBlox is already available in Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Columbia, France, Ireland, Jersey, Mexico, Norway, Sweden, UK and USA.
