Greece's Wind Hellas has announced plans to expand its 3G network nationwide by 2015.

Vodafone Ghana has completed deployment of a fibre network linking telecoms networks in Ghana, Togo and Burkina Faso.

Belgium based Belgacom has expaned its LTE network to five more cities: Antwerp, Ghent, Leuven, Liege and Namur.

Vodafone Netherlands has decided to separate aspects of its GSM and 3G network management into separate sites after a fire in Rotterdam affected both networks for several days.

South Africa's Vodacom says that it will start offering up to R10,000 worth of funeral cover to regular users of its mobile banking service, M-Pesa, at no extra charge.

Rwanda's Airtel has launched its HSPA enabled 3G network, with coverage initially available in the capital city, Kigali.­
