Foxconn CEO to Step Down Due to Health Problems

Consumer electronics manufacturer, Foxconn has confirmed media rumours that its CEO, Mr. Cheng Tien Chong is to resign from the company. The company is most famous for being the primary assembly supplier of Apple's iPhones.
The company said that he wishes to retire due to his desire to spend more time with his family and to improve his health conditions. The company did not clarify what the health conditions are, or how long they have affected him.
Cheng Tien Chong only took over as CEO at the start of this year.
The effective date of his retirement is still subject to further discussions and agreement between the Board and Mr. Cheng.
The company is now starting the process of seeking a new CEO.
