Windows Phone Smartphones May Come With Curved Keyboard

Published on:

Microsoft may be working on a uniquely different touchscreen keyboard for one-handed typing, if a leaked photo is to be believed.

According to the photo sent to WMPoweruser, the design matches previous rumours of a "one handed and next gen soft keyboard" for Windows Phone 8.

By angling the keys into a curved arc, the system helps to keep the on-screen buttons closer to the single thumb being used to select the letters.

It's not clear yet if the concept is coming to the next version of the Windows Phone OS, although Microsoft has already suggested that it hasn't shown off all the new toys that it will include when the OS is available.
