Overture Upgrading Icelandic Landline Network for Mobile Broadband Needs

Iceland's national trunk provider, M la ehf is upgrading its network to deal with increased mobile broadband backhaul requirements.
Carrier Ethernet provider, Overture Networks announced the upgrade and said that Míla is integrating both flexible Carrier Ethernet platforms into its existing architecture.
Míla's 10GigE mobile backhaul network architecture incorporates both the Overture 1400 and 4800 platforms in a hierarchical G.8032 Carrier Ethernet ring topology to deliver vast amounts of bandwidth, low latency service, support for LTE's X2 interface and 20ms protection switching.
