ZTE to Expand Egyptian Mobile Network

ZTE and Egypt based Etisalat Misr have reached an agreement to expand the Egyptian operator's network.
This contract is the second phase of the Etisalat Misr network expansion plan agreed by both corporations covering the supply, installation and implementation of SDR UMTS equipment and BSS solutions on a turnkey basis.
The two corporations have also agreed to extend the mutual strategic cooperation in other technology areas including microwave transmission, core networks, power solutions and value added services.
Financial and timeline details were not disclosed.
