Aircom International says that it has won a network optimisation contract from Etisalat Afghanistan. Aircom is to carry out an end to end network and site audit.
Aircom will examine Etisalat Afghanistan's network performance and ways to optimise it, assessing its radio access network, transmission network, circuit switching core, billing system and packet switching core. Etisalat Afghanistan's physical sites will also be examined.
Yacine Atroune, VP, Network Operations at Etisalat Afghanistan comments, "Aircom is a key partner in helping Etisalat Afghanistan to deliver the best quality of service to our customers. The end to end network and site audit will ensure that this high quality is maintained in the long-term."
This contract follows the contract award for Aircom's OPTIMA for multi-vendor network performance management in June 2011. Etisalat Afghanistan also uses Aircom's ASSET planning product and its RANOPT product for measurement post processing.
