Apple Accepting Local Currency for App Store Payments in China

Apple has updated its App Store in China and has started accepting Yuan-denominated payments in the country.
Apple's App Store now supports Renminbi payments with bank cards and credit cards issued by various Chinese bank, reports the China Tech News service.
In addition, users can top--up their App Store pre-pay accounts with bank cards and credit cards from selected banks. Four recharge amounts are available, which are CNY50, CNY100, CNY300 and CNY500.
The prices of software on the App Store website have also been changed to the Chinese currency.
