ARC Wireless to Supply AT&T Wireless and Cingular

ARC Wireless Solutions has said that it has achieved status as an authorized base station antenna supplier for both AT&T Wireless and Cingular Wireless in the USA. The Company is currently selling its new base station products to Bechtel Telecommunications, project integrator for AT&T Wireless' 2.5G and 3G rollouts. The Company has received initial orders from Cingular Wireless and continues to expand its offerings to other wireless customers.

The Company also reported financial results for the quarter ended September 30, 2001. Net sales for the period increased to US$7.3 million as compared with US$7.1 million for the same period last year. The Company's net loss for the three months ended September 30, 2001 was US$464,000 compared with a loss of US$522,000 for the same period last year.

"The challenges surrounding all of us in the current economic environment are evident in our everyday lives as well as our businesses," stated Randall P. Marx, Chief Executive Officer. "ARC Wireless is aggressively pursuing additional business by growing our product offerings, as evidenced by the most recent acquisition, increasing gross margins and expanding our customer base. We believe sales in our other subsidiaries will remain flat for at least the near term but expect growth in our communications products division over the next 12 months. We are also looking at additional acquisitions that fit our vision and would expand our wireless presence."
