Widespread BlackBerry Outage Across Europe and Middle-East

A network outage appears to be affecting BlackBerry email and mobile data services across parts of Europe and the Middle East.
The outage appears to be only affecting consumers, while corporate users are unaffected. Many consumers report also losing access to the BlackBerry instant messaging platform, BBM.
Various messages, typically via Twitter from mobile networks have confirmed that there is a problem, and that it is at Research in Motion, not that the mobile networks.
Research in Motion has not issued any statement about the problem at the time of going to press, but says that it will provide an update later today.
