Published on:

Bulgaria's telecoms regulator, the CRC has issued a tender for the country's fourth 3G license, following a request earlier this year from potential bidder, 4G COM.

Applications to participate in the auction have to be submittred by 14th November, and the auction is due to take place on the 7th December.

The reserve price has been set at BGN 49.5 million (US$33.8 million).

The license is for 2 x 15 MHz (FDD) in the 2 GHz range for 15 years.

The regulator tried to tender a 4th license in 2008, but it was annulled after the sole bidder, Liechtenstein based TelCo failed to submit its paperwork in time.
