T-Mobile to Charge Different Tariffs Depending on Mobile Data Speeds

Published on:

T-Mobile Hungary has announced that it will charge different rates depending on the mobile data speed the customer has signed up to. From August, customers on the new 21Mbps service will pay more than customers who opt to stick with the existing 7.2Mbps service.

The company also said that its forthcoming HSPA+ service, offering theoretical peak rates of up to 21Mbps will be available in 200 locations from August.

"By intensely developing our mobile network and preparing for the introduction of LTE, Telekom offers even more values, bandwidth and available data volume to intense and frequent users of the mobile Internet" - said István Király, chief marketing officer of Magyar Telekom.

The mobile internet portfolio for the business segment does not change for the time being.
