Apple has expanded its design and trademark lawsuit against Samsung to the South Korean manufacturer's home country after filling additional lawsuits in South Korea.
The company has already started legal action against Samsung in the USA, claiming that its touchscreen phones are too similar in design to the Apple iPhone.
An Apple spokesman said that "it is no coincidence that Samsung's latest products look a lot like the iPhone and iPad from the shape of the hardware to the user interface and even the packaging".
In the USA, the two sides are reported to be in negotiations over the lawsuits after the Judge referenced the two companies close business relations. Samsung is a major supplier to Apple of semiconductor and LCD components.
Samsung is also suing Apple over claims of patent infringements.
