Free Wi-Fi Within London's Square Mile from The Cloud

The City of London has announced a deal with Wi-Fi network, The Cloud to give Londoners 15 minutes free Wi-Fi access per day within the square mile of London. The Cloud says that it expects that more than 350,000 city workers and visitors to the area will be able to take advantage of the free 15 minutes per day within the Square Mile.
Based on the success of the same offer in Glasgow, which experiences thousands of log-ins every day, The Cloud is expecting the initiative to have overwhelming appeal.
Naunton Dickins, MD, The Cloud said: "We're very excited about opening up The Cloud's Wi-Fi network in the City of London, so that everyone can get a daily dose of free Wi-Fi whilst they're out and about. People will find their smart-phones work much better on Wi-Fi than on their mobile phone network; no more waiting for apps to appear or photos to download, this is mobile broadband in its true sense! This initiative with the City of London reflects our broader ambitions to make London a fully Wi-Fi'd city."
Further minutes can be purchased on a Pay as you Go basis or subscription basis.
Last week it was announced that satellite TV provider, BSkyB had bought The Cloud for an undisclosed amount.
