LG to Preinstall PapayaMobile's Apps and Social Network on Chinese Android Phones

China based mobile gaming platform, PapayaMobile has secured a deal to have its software preinstalled in LG's Android phones shipping in China with immediate effect. This comes on the heels of Papaya recently releasing China-specific versions of its SDK to provide developers specific access to Papaya end users, game localization services and features such as language options.

With an already existing U.S. and European user base of 8 million, PapayaMobile expects its user base to grow by 32 million in China alone over the next two years.

"Papaya aims to be the leading global social gaming platform on Android and our partnership with LG and the release of our China SDK continue to play into this global strategy," said Si Shen, co-founder and CEO of PapayaMobile. "As our presence expands, developers who want to use our social tools and increasing user base can share in our growth."

"The next rapid stage of growth for Android will come from emerging market countries like China," said Yan Guan, director of business for LG. "To ensure we provide end users with the best mobile gaming experience possible, we are excited to bring PapayaMobile's gaming social network to our China users."
