Oslo based start-up Majoobi has launched a mobile App Builder, an online tool that the company says enables anyone to build and share mobile and tablet apps in just a few clicks. The company is also launching a Majoobi Mobile Client, giving consumers the flexibility to run apps on virtually any mobile device, regardless of the operating system.
For anyone looking to create their own app, whether they are a consumer, publisher, business or developer, they can now do it online through the Majoobi App Builder. This web-based tool takes users through a number of easy steps so they can create and share a range of apps quickly.
Applications built with the Majoobi App Builder are based on HTML5, allowing users to distribute apps on their own terms without navigating their way through complex and lengthy app store approvals. They simply distribute the apps using an assigned web address.
Apple iPhone and Android users can install Majoobi apps directly onto their home screen from their mobile browser.
Ayman Mackouly, founder of Majoobi said "The team at Majoobi is passionate about mobile technology and believes that anyone can get a great app experience, whatever the handset, as long as they have the right tools. The drive to personalise the mobile experience is at the heart of what we are doing - freeing publishers and consumers alike from the shackles that app stores and mobile platforms often present."
