Telefonica Signs M2M Deal with Jasper Wireless

Machine to machine service provider, Jasper Wireless and Telefonica have announced a partnership to wirelessly connect machine to machine (M2M) and consumer electronics devices. The Telefonica Control Center, powered by Jasper Wireless, enables M2M enterprise customers & device manufacturers to profitably connect and manage embedded mobile devices, advancing their design and market introduction.

By automating operational processes, Jasper Wireless enables customers & device manufacturers to deliver a seamless out-of-the-box user experience.

Telefonica's M2M service with Jasper Wireless will be commercially available on 1 January. Financial terms of the agreement have not been disclosed.
