Leaked Verzion Smartphone Could Roam Onto Vodafone Networks
Published on:
HTC is reported to be working on a new Android based dual-mode smartphone for Verizon Wireless that will also be able to roam onto Vodafone's GSM networks worldwide. The handset is not expected to be launched until early next year, which fits in with the presumed timeline for the currently known Verizon smartphone range.
The hardware is reported to be running on a 1.2 Ghz processor - likely to be Qualcomm Snapdragon based - and comes with a 4" screen and sliding QWERTY keyboard.
The sample phone supplied to AndroidGuys included a Vodafone SIM card.
Some reports have suggested that it could be one of the company's first LTE phone, although there is limited evidence to support this claim.
