Radcom Wins CDMA Network Monitoring Contract
Radcom has announced that an unnamed South Asian CDMA2000 1x/EV-DO operator has chosen its Omni-Q Service Assurance solution to monitor its CDMA2000 network. The deal is valued at US$1 million.
The operator in question is currently in the process of deploying a GSM network in addition to the existing CDMA200 network.
Radcom's single system for real customer experience monitoring for all cellular and mobile data technologies (CDMA2000, GSM, GPRS, UMTS, and IMS) matched this operator's requirements of choosing a solution for its CDMA2000 network that would also be appropriate for its expanding range of technologies.
"We are very pleased that this operator has selected Radcom to monitor its CDMA2000 network. We believe that by using Omni-Q, this operator will be able to improve its network performance and customer satisfaction for the various wireless broadband services it provides," said Yoram Sherman Radcom's VP Sales Asia-Pacific. "In addition, the Omni-Q system for CDMA2000 will support this operator's newly deployed UMTS networks, saving future CAPEX and OPEX."
