Three UK to Offer Free Spotify to Subscribers

Hutchison 3G UK (trading as 3) has announced a deal to bundle two-year's access to the Spotify music streaming service with its upcoming HTC supplied Android based smartphone.

Subscribers who pay £35 per month customers will be offered unlimited Spotify Premium for mobile and PC for two years along with free Skype-to-Skype calls.

Charlotte Blanchard, Director of Products & Services at 3 says "This partnership continues our commitment to bring popular internet services to our customers. Spotify Mobile is a fantastic digital service which gives consumers the ability to enjoy and share music in an affordable way.

As a first step we've built this service into an attractive, well-priced package with the HTC Hero. Over time our deal with Spotify will extend across a range of our products including Mobile Broadband."

The HTC Hero will be offered for a down-payment of £99.
