China Mobile Signs Up its Half-Billionth Subscriber
In a brief statistics statement, China Mobile has announced that is has passed the half-billion mark for its subscriber base.
The company added a total of 5.26 million new subscribers in August, bringing its total to 502.9 million.
The network operator has added 45.7 million customers so far during 2009.
The number of subscribers who used China Mobile's TD-SCDMA based 3G network services during August was 1,327,000.
