Pan-Caribbean operator LIME (formerly Cable & Wireless) has launched an overseas top-up service for its PrePay subscribers. People resident in the USA can visit a Western Union Agent and transfer fund to LIME accounts via a platform being provided by MoreMagic Solutions.
At any Western Union Agent location in the United States, the customer simply enters WU plus the mobile phone number in international format, on the gray Prepaid Services form, in order to do a TopUp. The airtime is immediately available on the LIME mobile phone, and the recipient is notified of airtime credits with a personalized SMS message..
"Sending airtime from overseas is an excellent way to enable LIME customers to maximize their LIME mobile service," said Mariano Doble, Executive Vice President, Commercial, of LIME. "MoreMagic Solutions International Roaming Recharge Global Hub, coupled with their distribution and marketing programs, will make it easy for friends and family of LIME customers from a multitude of countries to send airtime to them."
"Western Union is known for helping to connect people to their loved ones around the world," said David Shapiro, Senior Vice President, Western Union Global Payments. "Our relationship with MoreMagic Solutions is just one more example of how we are using our unparalleled Agent network to provide consumers with the services they want and need."
