Israeli Operator Orders Network Monitoring Kit

­Israeli mobile network operator, Pelephone has contracted with Tektronix Communications to provide a single, integrated network monitoring solution to ensure end-to-end quality of service across both its legacy CDMA network (1xRTT, EV-DO) and newer WCDMA based 3G network.

"From initial network trials, we were impressed with the performance of Tektronix Communications' Network Intelligence portfolio and its ability to cover multiple network technologies. Pelephone is integrating Tektronix Communications' Network Intelligence Solutions, which include the OptiMon suite of advanced network optimization products and GeoProbe with Advanced Performance Monitoring (APM), part of the Unified Assurance suite of applications, for its mobile network.
