Bosnian Mobile Operator Expands GSM Coverage

Bosnia based telco, BH Telecom has signed a GSM network expansion contract with Croatia based Ericsson Nikola Tesla worth 30 million kunas (USD5.9 million). The project execution will start instantly.

"I am very pleased with the continued cooperation between Ericsson Nikola Tesla and BH Telecom in mobile telephony. It should provide a foundation for even larger projects with our strategic customer in further mobile network modernization in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The contract has additionally strengthened Ericsson Nikola Tesla's position among providers of communication solutions, services and equipment in the field of mobile telephony and system integration," said Gordana Kovačević, president of Ericsson Nikola Tesla.

Sweden's Ericsson owns 49% of Ericsson Nikola Tesla, with the rest held by investors and floated on the Zagreb Stock Exchange.
