Bulgarian Operator Signs Exclusive Distribution Deal

Bulgaria's courier and logistics service, M&BM Express has signed an exclusive agreement to resell mobile services for BTC and its mobile phone subsidiary, Vivatel in its 34 offices across the country. All BTC clients will be able to pay in cash the bill for their landline phone, choose services, or buy a phone card and electronic vouchers for the pre-paid BTC service in the M&BM Express network.

Shortly the vivatel users, too, will get the option of paying their bills through M&BM Express.

"Our partnership with M&BM Express is in keeping with the new BTC strategy of transformation from a technological to a client-oriented, efficient and dynamic company. Our efforts go in two directions: revamping our own network of outlets and broadening our presence in our dealers' stores. Our aim is to improve the quality of service and offer our customers access to a broad range of products and services," said Georgi Todorov, senior expert with BTC's Fixed Services Distribution.

With the M&BM Express offices, the BTC and vivatel products and services will be available in over 1,000 own and dealer outlets across the country. M&BM Express expects to have more than 130 postal offices across the country by the end of 2010 and achieve full national coverage by the end of 2014.
