Nokia Siemens Networks Wins Czech HSPA Upgrade Contract

Nokia Siemens Networks says that it has won a contract to upgrade the 3G network of T-Mobile in the Czech Republic to support HSPA services. The upgrade is expected to be launched in Prague by the end of the year.
Nokia Siemens Networks is also providing T-Mobile with network integration services, the NetAct network management system to monitor, manage and optimize the network and an upgrade of the core network to support advanced 3G services.
No financial details were provided.
T-Mobile is the dominant operator in the country, and estimates from the Mobile World analysts puts its market share at around 41%, with 5.4 million customers.
