Turkcell Announces 3G Launch Plans

Turkish mobile network operator, Turkcell has outlined the launch plans for its 3G network due tomorrow (30th June) with a range of new tariffs and offers.
Turkcell CEO Sureyya Ciliv said " We've already covered approximately 60% of the population in the 3G technology we're going to launch in all of Turkey's 81 provinces on 30 July. That, as a matter of fact, was the coverage we were supposed to reach in the first three years. We made it in 90 days."
Observing that Turkey made its transition to 3G at absolutely the right time, Süreyya Ciliv noted that the 3G technology was not at its adolescence but at its maturity, and that the industry had fully come of age in terms of both equipment/devices and content.
Marketing Officer Develioglu presented the 30 new products and services that Turkcell will be offering to its customers during 3G era and gave information on Turkcell handset offers such as Gozz, 3G simcard embedded notebooks, netbooks. Develioglu also demonstrated new products and services such Turkcell Mobil TV, Speaking Poster, Video Find, My Video Facebook.
The company also announced a free video-call service for hearing-impaired people to call their customer care team when necessary. The call center will be staff by employees trained in sign language.
