Azerbaijani Operators in Talks over Interconnection Dispute

The two Azerbaijani operators who have been in dispute over unpaid bills are reported to have agreed to a plan to restore interconnection between them. Management of Azerfon and Azercell met at the Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies reported local newspaper, Today.

The talks are underway to approve a plan under which Azerfon will pay off the debt to Azercell  step-by-step.

Last week, Azercell suspended interconnection with Azerfon over the unpaid bills, just one day before Azerfon announced a co-marketing deal with Vodafone.
