RadioShack Adds T-Mobile USA to its Retail Offering

US electrical goods retailer, RadioShack has announced plans to expand its "online only" agreement to sell T-Mobile USA services to place products within its retail stores. Today, approximately 30 percent of RadioShack's annual sales are generated by its wireless platform.

The company currently sells phones on behalf of AT&T, Sprint Nextel and Alltell Wireless.

"Our mobility strategy is rooted in customer advocacy, and allows us to offer the best solution for consumers' needs across multiple carriers, plans, phones and accessories," said Julian Day, RadioShack's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. He added, "RadioShack has a tremendous legacy of innovation, and in a highly mobile world, keeping our customers seamlessly connected to one another is a commitment we are very focused on delivering."

"We are excited to partner with T-Mobile and to provide our customers with an expanded assortment of innovative products and wireless plans that deliver quality and value," Day said.

RadioShack has approximately 4,450 company-operated stores; almost 1,400 dealer outlets; nearly 600 wireless phone kiosks throughout the U.S.; and approximately 200 company-operated stores in Mexico.
