Comptel Wins Mediation Contract in India
Comptel says that it has received a significant long-term order for mediation and provisioning solutions being used by a "leading", but unnamed operator in India. The project includes consolidation of separate mobile mediation systems by Comptel Convergent Mediation Solution and provides Comptel Provisioning and Activation Solution for its broadband services.
The total order value is US$12.8 million for the coming five years. Comptel estimates that totally around US$4 million will be recognised as revenue during the third and fourth quarter in 2009.
"This is one of the largest single orders in Comptel's history. Comptel solutions have been selected again by one of the most prestigious operator in the world to drive their business processes. Selected solutions are the key components of the Comptel Dynamic OSSTM platform. This order also highlights our great relationship with IBM in India", comments Sami Erviö, President and CEO of Comptel.
