Synchronica Wins Mobile Email Contract in LatAm

Synchronica, the AIM listed mobile email and data synchronisation provider, says that it has concluded a contract with an undisclosed mobile operator for an initial 50,000 user license of its mobile email product Mobile Gateway. In addition a customisation package was ordered. The contract is Synchronica's third mobile operator win in Latin America.

The operator plans to use Synchonica's Mobile Gateway technology to offer a push mail and mobile synchronisation service to customers starting from August 2009. Synchronica's technology does not require an additional software client to be downloaded to the handset and enables push email for the broadest range of handsets, from high-end Smartphones to low-cost entry level devices.

This contract is the second win through Synchronica's distribution partner, Brightstar.
