RealPlayer Video Launched for BlackBerry Phones

RealNetworks has launched a video player application for the BlackBerry family of phones, that automatically converts video for playback on the media player that comes with the BlackBerry smartphones.

"RealPlayer Plus SP takes the video experience on BlackBerry smartphones a step further. With a few simple clicks of the mouse, we're helping customers get even more value out of their favorite entertainment."

RealPlayer Plus SP Beta is available as a free download from www.realplayer.com. Support for h.264 video conversion, DVD playback, and DVD burning is available to those customers who upgrade to RealPlayer Plus SP at a one-time cost of $39.99.
