Comfone Records 35% Annual Increase in Signalling Traffic

Roaming services provider, Comfone has reported that it saw a 35% increase in signalling traffic in the past year and a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 50% for its international signalling service traffic over the past three years.

Laurent Freléchoux, Product Marketing Director Signalling, commented: "This fantastic growth is the result of Comfone's strong relationship with its customers and its successful strategy for acquiring new accounts."

Laurent Freléchoux noted further: "The signalling environment is very competitive and Comfone is aggressively extending its Enhanced Signalling service with features that help GSM operators simplify their roaming control. The broad deployment of steering of roaming as well as of number portability has both played a positive role in increasing signalling traffic." The successful launch of Comfone's number portability service (MNP) in Brazil, where Comfone is the signalling service provider of the four top mobile operators, is only one of many latest success stories.

Comfone says that it provides roaming services to over 300 operators in over 130 countries
