Alvarion Wins Italian Mobile WiMAX Contract

Alvarion says that it has won a Mobile WiMAX deployment contract from Aria, the only telecom operator in Italy with a national WiMAX license. Under the agreement, Aria will build a network at the 3.5 GHz frequency to offer broadband services to all 21 Italian regions.
